More East meets Electronica from Bodhi, who describes this adventure as "Shamanic flutes with rich, ambient, dub-influenced electronic grooves [which] take the listener on a pilgrimage beyond borders." There are a total of nine upbeat really cool grooves based around 3 major
themes (Crimea I, II & III, Kiev I, II & III, Odessa I, II & III), so while there's some thematic repitition within these, The riffs are just so catchy that the variations satisfy the wanting for more that the prior one leaves you with (even after 7-10 minutes in some cases). It's hard to turn off! These would be great backdrops for travel programs like Globe Trekker. Bodhi (formerly Kevin Setchko) has produced 12 albums of original music including ones with his touring ensemble Crystal Wind.
