We start out with The Tannahill Weavers with a set of reels that rock a bit - listen for the really cool bass line toward the end. Dougie MacLean is getting a lot of requests here, so here's another good tune of his - with a bit of an attitude! Then, a request for some Runrig. Next, I found another opportunity to play three of my favorite artists right in a row, starting with Danny Carnahan & Robin Petrie, a real cool & short instrumental from Clannad's terrific soundtrack Legend, and then my pick for best tune of the show (and more), Fear-Allabain by Capercaillie. Not only does Karen Matheson sound great on this rockin' tune, but, if you're a rock 'n roll veteran and something about this song sounds really familiar, you're right. There's a bit of similarity to a rock classic here. If you think you know what tune that is, put a note out on the Celtic posting board. Last but not least is Emer Kenny.
