Program Notes: We start out with a pretty well known hit by The Guess Who, but by the end of the encore set, you'll hear a pretty obscure song by the same group - or is it really the same group?  Well, not really (BT were gone doing BTO).  I don't know who Burton Cummings was referring to in "Glamour Boy" but Bowie is probably a reasonable guess (someone from Canada probably knows the real answer - e-mail me and I'll pass along the info).  But a reasonable excuse to play a real classic gem from Bowie.  Carl & The Passions - So Tough is not one of the more memorable albums by the mod-70's incarnation of The Beach Boys, with the exception of the standout tune "Marcella."  Then Poco after Richie Furay (but still a solid band for album number Seven), more from Atomic Rooster - Note that on Atomic Rooster's tomorrow Night, Scott incorrectly mentions that the song is from an album just entitled "Atomic Rooster,"  when it is really from their 2nd album entitled "Death Walks Behind You."  The reference below is correct (including the 1971 date which is printed on the album cover).  But then, you knew that, right? - and a couple from Gary Wright & Spooky Tooth.  The Mirror was about the last of the Spooky Tooth albums worth having (the super cheapo cover on the CD gives no hint of the original elaborate packaging for the LP).  "Waitin' For The Wind" is from their more robust era.  Yes, I'll eventually play something from "You Broke My Heart, So I Busted Your Jaw" too.  A lot of people probably sneered at seeing Three Dog Night on the playlist.  "Chest Fever" will demonstrate the value of keeping an open mind (its not bubblegum, and if you were around and listening back then, you'll remember this being one of the coolest covers ever of this tune).  Set 3 includes Roxy Music, Robin Trower and The Baker Gurvitz Army, plus those mentioned above.
