(think "Itchycoo Park") were deserted by Steve Marriott
(who left to form the group
Humble Pie),
Ron Wood (guitar) and
Rod Stewart
(vocals) (both from
The Jeff Beck
Group) joined original members
Ronnie Lane
(bass), Ian McLagan (keyboards) and Kenny Jones,
(drums), and they retitled the group "Faces."
