Peter
Frampton |
| Peter Frampton is a UK
musician who's mid 1970s concerts helped define the term
"arena rocker". Before his solo career, he was a member
of Humble Pie, and appeared on albums by Harry Nilsson,
Jerry Lee Lewis, and George Harrison. He's most famous
for his use of the "talkbox" in the 14-minute live
version of "Do You Feel Like We Do" as well as in "Show
Me The Way" from the 1976 six million plus selling album
"Frampton Comes Alive!" Many of the songs on
"Frampton Comes Alive!" were originally released on his
early
Frampton's Camel
group albums. if you are more familiar with
"Frampton Comes Alive!,"
you may be disappointed with the original versions - not
that they are bad, but the studio originals certainly
lack the excitement and snap of the live takes, and thus
sound rather flat by comparison. However, try "I
Got My Eyes On You" for a hidden gem! |
