flashbacks with this newly formed band of veteran Prog
rockers - John Payne (Asia,
1991- now), Guthrie Govan (Asia,
2001 - now), Jay Schellen (Hurricane, Bad Finger,
Conspiracy,
Asia
- 2nd half of Silent Nation tour), and Ryo Okumoto (Spock's
Beard). After a brief vocalesque fade in, that powerful opening
Pounding Riff in "Window To The Soul" (title cut) may
transport you back to many places - for me, its back to
Genesis' Fly On A Windshield (The Lamb Lies Down On
Broadway). Overall a very solid first release all
the way through, but not at all a suprise considering
the level of talent involved. |
