Q: How do I Get My Login/Password?
Please be
patient, our system is not automated. A real
person (usually Scott) will complete your Membership
and send your login and password. Our response
time is usually 1-3 hours Mon-Fri during business
hours (8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST), and 3-5 hours
weekends and evenings. Memberships entered
after 10:00 p.m. US EST will be sent after about 8:00
a.m. EST the following morning (10:00 a.m. on
weekends).
While this may
not be as fast as an automated system, you will
receive more personalized service as well as answers
to any questions that you have and the ability to
contact a real person for help or changes.

Q: How Do I
Login? I Don't See A Login Box on the Web Pages?
You will be prompted
for your login & password when you click on a Members
Play or Listen button. On most systems, you
should only have to enter your login once per session
(or until you close the CoolStreams player window/Real
Player or restart your PC).

Notes
about the MP3 Programs On Demand Options vs. Real
Audio:
Most of our Programs On
Demand series (excluding a few series without Member's
Options) now have MP3 listening options. We
still use Real Audio for the Modem Speed (LO)
listening option because Real Audio 21 kbps still
offers better quality at that lower rate. Our HI
and CD quality options are now MP3 56 and 128 kbps.
At the 56 & 128
streaming rates, we give you the option of launching
the programs with either Real Player, where we can
supply you with display information about the program
in the player window, or your default MP3 player
(Winamp is recommended by us, or iTunes, Windows Media
Player, others). Just to be clear, the 56 & 128
streams are MP3 audio, even if launched with our Real
Player buttons. The special buttons for Real
Audio are for the purpose of launching the title and
display info along with the MP3 audio.
There are far more
files associated with the Real Audio play button
options (in order to provide the display of titles and
information), so if you experience problems using
these options, please try the MP3 player button
options.

General Information about
Coolstreams:
Without Membership support,
Coolstreams will cease to exist, because Membership Support is
our primary means of support! We do NOT currently receive any
kind of funding from Grants or Foundations, however,
Coolstreams is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit
Organization (see
more details here >>>). We do not earn enough
revenue from ads on the site over an entire year to cover
the costs of the streaming and other operating costs for one
month! We keep a small number of NON-INTRUSIVE banner ads
(meaning no obnoxious pop-up ads), plus
affiliate links on the site to help with the costs offering
our Free Use listening options.Everyone
who supports us at any level or by any method really wins
because it keeps our programming available without
commercial influence. We also know
some folks can afford to support us more than others, so we
have developed extra services and premiums to encourage your
generosity!
